Left Goes To Work On Sarah Palin

DailyKos has a detailed post alleging that 4-month-old Trig Palin, daughter of McCain running mate Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, is actually the governor's granddaughter. Furthermore, it claims she lied to protect her then-sixteen-year-old daughter Bristol, whom the post theorizes is the real mother. The post contains timeline photographs of Palin and her teenaged daughter and claims inside information on Bristol Palin's school attendance. Even FOXNews's mild-mannered, Teller-to-Sean-Hannity's-Penn Alan Colmes is getting in on the action, questioning whether the infant's Down's Syndrome is a result of Palin's pre-natal negligence.

Is this type of speculation going to far, or is it fair game in a presidential race?

This type of idiotic speculation is one thing, but it does showcase the breathtaking hypocrisy and lack of principles of the far left. If Sarah Palin was a Democrat instead of a Republican and the attack came from a right-wing blog lo there would be wailing and gnashing of teeth and calling righties misogynists.
