Frozen Embryos That Become Polygamists Live Forever

Newspaper

current event by VnutZ on 23 August 2008, tagged as biology, society, and health

Science has identified new techniques for enhancing human life. Frozen embryos have been shown to grow into healthier babies than those born from fresh in vitro fertilization (IVF). Research shows it may not necessarily be the freezing process itself that results in improvement, rather, the extended time to analyze the available embryos and those that survive the thawing process seem to be hardier.

Further research has shown that once born and matured, polygamist men may actually live up to 12% longer than monogamous men. The belief is not so much that women themselves help men live longer, instead, multiple wives leads to increased sexual opportunities prolonging male fertility and therefore health. So it can be concluded the key to long life is to be born from a frozen embryo and marry many women for the purpose of procreation.

Increased resistance... by NomadSoul :: NR6

Is it the increased sexual opportunities that keeps a man healthy, or is the fact that multiple wives keep a man on his toes? Heck, just one seems like it would be challenging enough.

Another thought... by NomadSoul :: NR6

I was thinking about it and remembered seeing a report on the discovery channel that sexually active fruit flies don't live as long as fruit flies whose sexual impulses have been genetically disabled. Maybe the secret is to have lots of sex, or no sex at all. Or maybe just the right kind of sex...

There's the old Taoist belief that ejaculation robs men of their vital energy. Then again, by controlling that vital energy, men could supposedly achieve immortality--like the blessed Yellow Emperor, who ascended into heaven after having sex with his ten-thousand concubines, orgasming each time without ejaculating (remember in ancient Chinese, ten-thousand was the value for any incalculable number... like millions, or zillions). And here I'm thinking: why the heck would he leave in the middle of that? What was my point? Oh yeah--sex is good, even (or perhaps, especially) if it kills ya!
