Alien category theory by Anonymous :: NR0

There's a lovely quote about this, by science-fiction author Greg Egan, at Phil Wadler's "Alien Category Theory". Less explicitly categorical, but still very much about mathematical unification, there's another inspiring quote from him at The n-Category Café blog, Jocelyn Paine's posting. The first is from his short story "Glory", the second from his 2008 novel "Incandescence".
